Reducing waste from our operations

At our Gurgaon office, we work with our authorised waste management partner, Saahas Waste Management (SWM), to measure and monitor waste generation, segregation, treatment and recycling on a regular basis. Waste audits and reviews help us identify opportunities to reduce waste generation and improve segregation and resource recovery. We sensitise employees on responsible waste practices, including reducing food waste, and provide segregated waste bins to encourage segregation at source. Regular awareness sessions are also conducted for housekeeping staff, and we engage with our food vendors to strengthen waste management practices across our operations. SWM also undertake periodic reviews and audits at its Material Recovery Facility, to monitor waste flows and track waste directed to landfill. Food waste generated at the Gurgaon office is directed for composting, while dry waste undergoes primary and secondary segregation before being sent to a Material Recovery Facility for further sorting and recovery.

Water Management

The UN World Water Development Report highlights a concerning trend: a significant rise in the number of urban residents facing water scarcity. By 2050, projections estimate between 1.7 and 2.4 billion people in cities (one-third to nearly half of the global urban population) could be impacted. India is expected to be among the most affected countries.

Utilisation of water-efficient fixtures

We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact through innovative water-saving measures. Recently, we have installed 50 aerators on faucets throughout our Headquarter located in Gurugram, India. These smart devices blend air with water, creating an efficient, lower-pressure stream that maintains functionality while significantly reducing water usage. This initiative helps conserve water and raises awareness among employees about the importance of sustainable practices in our daily routines.
